Collective shaver

This 19th century shaver could shave 12 men at once. However, it failed to sell and became a failure. The simple reason was that it could not flexibly change the shaving motion to suit different face shapes of men.

No longer confined to factories, the assembly line hit barbershops in the 19th century with this mass-produced shaver or hair trimmer. The unusual invention allowed barbers to shave dozens of men at once.
